Custom Waypoints and Map Layers in FltPlan Go

To Manually Enter a Waypoint:

1. Open the application FltPlan Go.

2. Select the icon for Maps on the left side of the screen.

3. Select the Edit option at the top of the screen.

4. Tap on the Waypoints button on the right side of the application.

5. Press the Add button on the top left of the pop-up window.

Alternatively:

1. You can tap & hold any location on the map to view various data from nearby that point, including the Lat/Lon coordinate.

2. Tap the down arrow next to this coordinate.

3. Select Save.

4. Verify the details populated. 

5. Select Add.

To Delete a Waypoint:

1. Navigate to Maps.

2. Select the Edit option at the top of the screen.

3. Tap on the Waypoints button on the right side of the application.

   • iOS:

     • Swipe left and tap Delete.

   • Android:

     • Tap and hold on the waypoint until prompted to delete and select Yes.

For iOS users, Custom Waypoints can be Imported to FltPlan Go in KMZ or KML Format.

1. Select on the file in your handheld and Open With : FltPlan Go.

2. Custom Maps (.mbtiles files) can be imported using iTunes.

3. Go to Maps on the left side of the screen.

4. Select the icon shown as a gear, the Map Options icon, on the top left of the screen.

5. Inside the pop-up menu, scroll down until you see the options for Custom Waypoint Files or Custom Map Layers.
