Preparing the OnDeck Hub for Long-Term Storage

These directions provide a procedure for preparing the OnDeck™ Hub for storage over long periods of time (e.g. boating off-season).

  1. Make sure the unit is on, has 2-pin power, and is in full-power mode (Boat-in-Use and/or Shore Power on)

  2. While connected to the unit’s Wi-Fi, perform an intentional shutdown using the app (Settings > OnDeck Settings > OnDeck Control > Turn Off)

  3. Wait a bit, and make sure that the unit turns off (no LED activity, etc.)

  4. Turn off (or disconnect) 2-pin power and the Boat-in-Use input (if necessary), and make sure that there’s still no LED activity

  5. Do NOT reapply power to the unit, press the button, or turn on the Boat-in-Use input until it is ready to be used again (These actions will/can turn the unit back on again.)

Shore Power Sensor storage temperature range is from -20° to 60°C (from -4° to 140°F).

12 V Relay Switch storage temperature range is from -40° to 155°C (from -40° to 311°F).
