Transferring Device Registration From a Previous Owner
In most circumstances, a device can change from one owner to another without the need to take any action on your account.1 If the original owner would like to remove the device from their account they can do so by signing in at garmin.com.
Enter your sign-in information and select SIGN IN.
If you have trouble signing in you can reset your password.
Select Products on the left of the page.
On mobile browsers, select
in the top left and then Products.
Select REMOVE for the device you wish to remove.
1 If you are looking to register and activate an inReach® satellite communicator that was previously on another user's account, the previous user must have either canceled their inReach subscription or transferred their subscription to a different inReach device.
