(2022) Service Bulletin 22067 Rev A: G500/G600 TXi Turboprop Aircraft With NG and NP Tachometer Generators

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

Aircraft equipped with GEA™ 71B Enhanced p/n 011-03682-02 or 011-03682-05, with the NP (Prop RPM) or NG (Gas Producer RPM) tachometer generators connected to ‘Unfiltered’ ports are affected.

NOTE
Most aircraft with GEA 71B Enhanced p/n 011-03682-05 and all Pilatus PC-12 aircraft are not affected by this Service Bulletin.

Refer to the system configuration summary that is stored with the G500/G600 TXi Part 23 AML STC Maintenance Manual/ICA (P/N 190-01717-B1) to determine if the ‘NP (Prop RPM)’ and ‘N1 / NG (Gas Producer RPM)’ ports are configured as ‘Filtered’ or ‘Unfiltered’. If the ports are configured as Unfiltered, contact a dealer for service bulletin compliance. If the ports are configured as Filtered, no action is required. Contact a dealer if no configuration summary is available.

Recommended: Compliance with STC Service Bulletin 22067 is recommended at the next scheduled maintenance interval.

PURPOSE:

Prop RPM and Gas Producer tachometer generators may fail prematurely.

This modification is warranty reimbursable. Warranty reimbursement deadline is July 31, 2023.
