Connecting the VIRB 360 to External Power

The battery in the VIRB® 360 can be charged using one of Garmin's VIRB 360 charging accessories.

Alternatively, your VIRB can be charged using any power cable and power source as long as they are both USB 2.0 or higher and can supply at least 2.0A (amps). When using one of these cables and power sources, the cable can be connected directly to the camera's micro-USB port or through a VIRB 360 powered mount accessory.

When using a non-Garmin cable with your VIRB, be sure to only use a cable with a straight micro-USB connector. Do not use a micro-USB cable with a right-angle connector, as this may cause damage to the recessed micro-USB port.
