Radar Programmable Parking on Garmin Marine Devices

Programmable parking for a radar pedestal is stored in the pedestal itself, not the chartplotter. So, if needed, it is possible to utilize a chartplotter with the Programmable Antenna Parking feature to program the radar and then utilize a chartplotter without the feature for full-time use with the compatible radar. 

Depending on the radar model, this may not lock the radar in position, so the wind can still push the antenna.
