What Is In The Box FLUX S and FLUX 2

The FLUX S and FLUX 2 come with all the parts and accessories needed to set up most bikes and begin indoor cycling training. This FAQ will explain what parts are included with a FLUX S and FLUX 2.

  • Quick release drive side (DS) adapters (pre-installed on trainer)

  • 5mm Shimano/SRAM cassette body  (pre-installed on the trainer)

  • Rubber cap set- installed on trainer

  • Axle adapter kit for TACX FLUX and NEO Trainers (included with FLUX 2 Type 1 trainers)

  1. Tacx Universal quick release skewer

  2. FLUX leg bolts

  3. 8mm hex key

  4. 5mm non-drive side (NDS) spacer for bikes with 135mm rear spacing

  5. Leg bolt washer

  6. Leg bolt washer

  7. Cassette spacer - Used when installing 8-10 speed cassettes on included cassette body. Installed behind the bike's cassette

What Is Included in the Axle Adapter Kit (S0040) For Tacx FLUX and NEO Trainers?

Axle adapter kit for Tacx Flux and NEO trainers contains many options for converting thru-axle bikes to quick-release.

  1. Quick release skewer for thru-axle bikes

  2. 5mm M12x1.0 threaded drive side (DS) adapter

    • Used for converting thru-axle bikes with M12x1.0 thread pitch

  3. 5mm M12x1.5 thread drive side (DS)  adapter

    • Used for converting thru-axle bikes with M12x1.5 thread pitch

  4. 5mm M12x1.75 threaded drive side (DS)  adapter

    • Used for converting thru-axle bikes with M12x1.75 thread pitch

  5. 5mm conical non-drive side adapter

    • Used for converting thru-axle bikes that have a conical thru-axle bolt head interface

  6. 5mm flat non-drive side (NDS) adapter

    • Used for converting thru-axle bikes that have a flat thru-axle bolt head interface 

  7. 12mm drive side (DS)  end cap

    • Adapter used to ensure proper fit of certain bike frames

  8. 10mm drive side end cap

    • Adapter used to ensure proper fit of certain bike frames

  9. 12x142 non-drive side (NDS) adapter

    • Used for converting 12x142 thru axles to quick release
