LED Status Light Blink Code for Garmin Marine Radars

Garmin Marine Radars have an LED light on the unit near the power and Marine Ethernet ports. The light color indicates the radar's status and can be helpful when troubleshooting an issue. 

• No LED - No Power is applied to the radar

• Solid Red - The radar is powering up when ready for use. LED will change to a flashing green

• Red blinking - Radar has an error. See related content below

• Green blinking - Radar is working normally

• Orange blinking - Software is updating 

If the radar has a red blinking LED, there are three troubleshooting steps:

1. Test and or replace the Marine Network Cable

2. Verify the power cable and power supply

3. Update software
