Find Parking on Garmin Drive Series Devices

Your device allows you to locate available parking near your destination. This feature will help you locate parking near the closest entrance of complex destinations.

To find parking:

1. Touch Where To?

2. Touch Categories

3. Touch Parking

• • Touch the Searching near: box in the top left to search near a specific location
  • Touch the Enter Search box to type a specific parking destination

Touching the  information icon in the top left will provide you with a legend on the color-coding of the parking locations. It also displays any available pricing. 

Touching the map tab on the bottom right of the results screen will allow you to see color-coded parking availability.:

You can also filter the available parking to meet your needs by touching Filter Parking.  

Available filters include:

• Available Now
• Street Parking
• Covered Parking
• Free and Low Cost
• Pay by Cash
• Pay by Card
• Pay by Phone

These parking Points of Interests (POIs) are loaded as part of the map updates on the device and will show in the myMaps section of the device with the other mapping products listed. You can report incorrect parking information using our map error report form. 

Live parking information requires your device to be connected via Bluetooth to a compatible smartphone with the Smartphone Link application installed. See Installing Garmin Smartphone Link for more info.

Note: At least 5 minutes must pass from your last parking search in order for updated Live Parking information to populate. Parking information at the beginning of your trip may not be the same when you reach your destination. You can check the parking again when you get closer to your destination to ensure the most accurate live information.
