Using TracBack on the GPSMAP 66/67 Series
The TracBack® feature allows you to navigate back along your previously recorded activity or track.
Most Garmin outdoor handhelds are designed to record an activity or track when powered on and connected to satellites. This is to allow you to power the device on and begin your activity.
The GPSMAP® 66 and GPSMAP® 67 series outdoor handhelds default to recording Activity FIT files. These files are smaller, which allows for recording and storing significantly more files.
As these devices have the ability to record an activity, it is better to use the Recording Controls to manage the recording so a TracBack route is most useful. For steps, see Related.

NOTE: A TracBack route can only be performed using the current track or activity. If a saved or archived track or activity is chosen, the TracBack feature option will not appear.
