Downloading Charts with ActiveCaptain

To download charts, or a portion of a chart in the ActiveCaptain application, use the following steps:

1. Open and login to the ActiveCaptain application

2. Select Chart

3. Press 

4. Select Download Charts

5. You will see your previously purchased and registered charts in this section

6. Select a chart to view coverage details; tap the chart image

7. You can adjust the zoom level by tapping + or - which will expand or shrink the size of the tile being downloaded

• • The ActiveCaptain application must be connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network to download charts
  • Tap a tile to download a small portion of the chart, or select all tiles to download the entire coverage area; blacked out tiles are not available for download as they are outside of the chart region coverage area

8. Once the download is complete, the area downloaded will be available for use

1. • The tile will be lighter and no longer green once the download is complete
     

9. To view the full chart, select Chart at the bottom of the page

• • If you are unable to see detail in the downloaded area, you may need to zoom in to approximately 2 miles

NOTE: To download Fishing, Raster or Relief shading charts, select the appropriate chart to download.
