Correcting the Solid Red Light on a DC Collar with an Astro 220
If a DC 20, DC 30 or DC 40 collar is displaying a solid red light, the firmware in the collar may need to be reinstalled. If the collar is paired into the dog list of an Astro 220, you can connect the handheld to a computer and wirelessly force in a software update with the WebUpdater program on a Windows computer. The following article provides pictorial instructions on how to potentially correct the issue.
NOTE: If the collar device has been removed from the Astro 220 Dog List, it will not be possible to re-pair it. However, with an Astro 320 this may be resolved.
