Replacing a Fuel Filter on a GFS 10
The GFS 10 is sold with a fuel filter that is installed to protect the equipment from potential damage. Garmin recommends replacing the fuel filter at the start of each boating season or every 2,600 gallons (10,000L).
When replacing this filter, these guidelines should be followed:
3/8 in. hose compatible
30-micron rated
E10 compatible
Metal housing required for inboard applications
The West Marine fuel filter with part number 18-7857-1 (or an equivalent filter) should be used.
