Explanation of My Motorcycle, Status, and Last Ride Apps on a BMW Navigator V or VI

My Motorcycle, Status, and Last Ride are features that will display in the My Motorcycle app¹ on the BMW Navigator V or VI when connected to the following bikes, using the GPS Navigation Preparation Mount: 

• BMW R 1200 GS Adventure

• BMW R 1200 GS

• BMW R 1200 R

• BMW R 1200 RS

• BMW S 1000 XR

My Motorcycle:

Displays information about the motorcycle from the LIN Bus connection. Data such as tire pressure, engine temp, speed, voltage, and more can be viewed in real time. The data fields are user configurable using the wrench icon. Data from this application can also display on the trip computer screen.

Status:

Displays detailed information about motorcycle errors sent from the LIN Bus. Warnings will display on the map screen alerting the rider of issues with the motorcycle. The Status application will display information like ABS status, ASC status, lighting faults, and more. When off the mount it will show a quick glance of the most recent snapshot from the motorcycle.

Last Ride:

Interfaces with the LIN Bus to create a log of the motorcycle's operations. This information can be used by the rider to analyze various stats from the ride. This application can only be accessed when the device is out of the mount.
