Downloading movies in the Tacx Training™ app Tacx Training™ Desktop app requires a Premium subscription. Select your platform below to reveal instructions.
Downloaded movies will be saved to your device for offline viewing and training. Select your platform below for instructions on how to download a movie.
Open the Tacx Desktop app.
Select Movies.
Browse the list of movies and select the download arrow icon.
Select the film download quality.
1080p quality requires a Premium HD subscription.
Select Browse to change the download location.
Select the arrow icon.
Once the movie has been downloaded you can view it during workouts in the Tacx Desktop app (see Related for more information).
Open the Tacx Training app.
Select New Ride.
Select the Movies tab.
Select a movie you would like to download.
Select the download icon in the top right.
Select the film download quality.
1080p quality requires a Premium HD subscription.
Select Start Download.
Once the movie is downloaded, it will be displayed in the New Ride tab beneath "Downloaded Rides".
The Tacx Training App and Tacx Desktop App have an option to add a movie to your Favorites for easier locating. A movie can be added to your Favorites by selecting the Heart icon present in the upper right hand corner of the screen when viewing a Movie.
Movies that have been added to your Favorites will appear under the Favorites section of the New Ride page in the Tacx Training App. They can also be located on the Tacx Desktop App by selecting the Movies tab from the sidebar and filtering by Favorites.
To remove a Movie from your Favorites, simply unselect the Heart icon and it will be removed.
Deleting a downloaded movie will help to free up storage space on your device. Select your platform below to reveal instructions on how to delete a download.
When you download a movie in the Tacx Desktop App, you select a location on the computer where the download will be stored. You can either delete the movie, or change the location where it is stored.
Select Movies.
Select the downloaded movie you would like to delete.
Select the check mark in the upper right corner.
Select the option to delete the movie or change the location in the computer file explorer in which it is stored.
Select New Ride.
Scroll down to Downloads.
Select the movie you would like to delete.
Select the check mark in the upper right corner.
Select Yes, Delete Now.
