Disabling the Auto Zoom Feature on Garmin Devices
By default, your device will automatically adjust the zoom scale of the map as you drive. This is done to provide the clearest map image possible while driving.
Both the North American and European versions of this model include the ability to disable Auto Zoom.
To Enable or Disable Auto Zoom:
- Touch Settings
- Touch Map, Map and Vehicle, or Map Display
- Touch Auto Zoom to check (enable) or uncheck (disable) it
Repeat the above steps as desired.
