Update Billing Information on a Personal inReach Account

To ensure service to an inReach® satellite communicator is not interrupted, update the inReach account with any changes to the credit card account when they occur (such as credit card number, expiration date, or billing address).

Billing information can be updated by visiting garmin.com/subscriptions or by using a compatible Garmin app.


Updating Billing Information at Garmin.com

  1. Log in to the Subscription Portal: https://www.garmin.com/subscriptions/.

    • When signed into your account at Garmin.com, the Subscription Portal can also be accessed by selecting Account Profile Icon in the top right corner of the page, then Account. From there select Subscriptions & Service Plans on the left of the page.

  2. Select MANAGE on the subscription you want to update.

  3. Scroll to BILLING and select UPDATE PAYMENT INFO.

  4. If prompted, sign in again.

  5. If your billing address has changed, select EDIT, enter your new billing address, then select SAVE BILLING ADDRESS.

  6. If you need to change your payment method, select Card, PayPal, or ACH and enter the new information.

  7. Select SAVE or CONFIRM PURCHASE.


Updating Billing Information in the Garmin Messenger App

Most inReach device subscriptions can be managed using the Garmin Messenger app. For a list of compatible devices and pairing instructions, see - Pairing Instructions for Garmin Messenger App Compatible inReach Devices.

  1. Open the Garmin Messenger app.

  2. Select Device.

  3. Select your current plan type below the picture of your inReach device.

  4. Select Update Billing Info.

  5. If prompted, sign in again.

  6. If your billing address has changed, select EDIT, enter your new billing address, then select SAVE BILLING ADDRESS.

  7. If you need to change your payment method, select Card, PayPal, or ACH and enter the new information.

  8. Select SAVE or CONFIRM PURCHASE.


Updating Billing Information in the Earthmate App

The inReach Mini, inReach Explorer®+, and other select models can be used with the Earthmate app. For a complete list of compatible devices and pairing instructions , see - Pairing Instructions for Earthmate Compatible inReach Devices.
  1. Open the Earthmate app.

  2. Select Three horizontal lines (Android™) or More (iPhone®/iPad®).

  3. Select My inReach.

  4. Select Manage Subscription.

  5. Select Update Billing Info.

  7. If your billing address has changed, select EDIT, enter your new billing address, then select SAVE BILLING ADDRESS.

  8. If you need to change your payment method, select Card, PayPal, or ACH and enter the new information.
