OtherVersionRunningMessage error when Garmin Express is launched on a Mac

Description

After launching Garmin Express, the error message OtherVersionRunningMessage, or Garmin Express is unable to connect to the background service and will close may be displayed if an older version of the application was installed over a newer version.

Resolution

To correct this error message, download and install the most recent version of Garmin Express:

http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.dmg

When installing Garmin Express, make sure the GarminExpressInstaller.dmg used is the one that was downloaded most recently.  For more information on installing Garmin Express, see Related Content.

Garmin Express will now launch without the error message.
