for a complete explanation of how lights function depending on the Light Network setting. The following Edge cycling computers allow you to customize the light network settings.

NOTE: After your light has been paired to an Edge device, you can control the light modes through the Edge device itself. It is not necessary to press the physical button on the Varia device to change the light mode.
NOTE: Changing light mode to OFF does not disable the camera or radar. The following Edge cycling computers will not have a dedicated Light Mode widget or Light Network data screen to adjust light settings during a ride.
Edge 520, Edge 520 Plus, and Edge 530: Go to Menu > Settings > Sensors. Press the enter button (top right), then select Light Network.
Edge 130 and Edge 130 Plus: Press and hold the top-right menu button then select Main Menu > Sensors > Lights.
Edge 510 and Edge 810: Tap the screen, then select > Radar or Bike Lights.
Light Mode Widget
Newer Edge devices have a dedicated Light Mode widget that is available when lights are connected which allows you to temporarily change the Light Mode during a ride. These models include the following.
Edge 540 | Edge 540 Solar
Edge 830
Edge 840 | Edge 840 Solar
Edge 1030 | Edge 1030 Plus
Edge 1040 | Edge 1040 Solar
Edge 1050
Edge Explore | Edge Explore 2
To access the widget:
Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Widget Menu. For Edge 540, scroll up from the home page.
Scroll to the left or right until you reach the Light Mode widget. For Edge 540, scroll up and down to reach the Light Mode widget.
To override the light mode, select Solid, Flash, Off, or Peloton.
Select Cancel Override to return to your light being controlled by the Light Network settings on your Edge. You must cancel override selections for your light to respond to the Light Beam Activated setting you programmed earlier (ex: light beams turn on/off if Edge is powered on/off or an activity is started or ended).
Touchscreen Edges not mentioned above, except for the Edge 510 and Edge 810 (see
note above
), have a Light Network data screen. To enable this data screen, refer to your Owner's Manual. Once the data screen has been enabled you can swipe left or right while recording an activity to scroll over to the Light Network data screen:
NOTE: To return to the default light mode set in your Edge tap Cancel Override.
