How to Determine if a G1000 is Unlocked for Jeppesen Charts

On the MFD of your G1000:

1. Navigate to your Auxiliary Page Group (AUX).  
2. Scroll right through the page group to the AUX - SYSTEM STATUS page.  
3. Press the MFD1 DB softkey to activate the MFD1 Database quadrant on the screen.  
4. Scroll down to the Chart section.
5. The first line labeled “Chart” will either display FliteCharts® electronic procedure charts or ChartView™ plates.

If you wish to have your unit unlocked for Jeppesen Charts, or would like to have your G1000® flight deck reverted to FliteCharts, please contact a Garmin Dealer.
