Frequently Asked Questions About Deezer and a Garmin Music Watch

If you are downloading the Deezer Connect IQ app from your mobile device, it must meet the Garmin Connect™ App Minimum Device Software Requirements.

If you are downloading the Deezer Connect IQ app from a computer, your computer must meet the Garmin Express System Requirements.

You can only have one Deezer account linked to one Garmin watch at a time. If you want to add your account to a new Garmin watch, you will first need to remove it from your current Garmin watch in the Garmin Connect™ app. Having multiple Garmin smartwatches paired to one account may cause issues with pairing and syncing.

At this time, only master profiles for a Deezer Family account can be linked to a compatible watch.

The Deezer Connect IQ app can store a maximum of 500 MB on your Garmin watch, which is generally more than 100 songs. If you are attempting to download a playlist with more than 150 songs, or multiple large playlists, you may encounter difficulties syncing and will need to download a smaller collection.

If you no longer see your playlists on your watch, it may be because your Deezer subscription has expired, you exceeded your limit of offline devices, or due to another problem with your Deezer account. 

Make sure your Garmin is charged and in range of your Wi-Fi® network¹ to verify your account status at least once every 15 days.

¹The vívoactive® 3 Music (Verizon) uses 4G LTE instead of Wi-Fi to sync playlists.

At this time, it is not possible to listen to live radio or podcasts using Deezer on a Garmin watch.
