Dog Tracking Collar Shows "Not Tracking" on Handheld

When a dog tracking collar is paired to a handheld device, it is possible to pause or disable tracking. If tracking is stopped like this, it will have to be turned back on through the handheld settings before the dog's location will properly display on the Map or Compass pages.

If tracking has been stopped, a "Not Tracking" message will appear on the Dog Info page as shown in these example images. For instructions on turning tracking back on, click on your handheld model below:

Astro 220/320

/Astro 900

Alpha

Enabling Tracking on an Astro 220 or 320:

  1. Select Dog List from the main menu
  2. Select the Dog you want to enable/disable tracking for
  3. Select Show Info
  4. Press Menu
  5. Select Start Tracking

The collar location should now display properly on the Astro 220 or 320.

Enabling Tracking on an Astro 430 or Astro 900:

  1. Select Dog List from the main menu
  2. Select the Dog you want to enable/disable tracking for
  3. Select Show Info
  4. Press Menu
  5. Select Start Tracking

The collar location should now display properly on the Astro 430.
