Unable to Update Vector Pedals Using Vector Updater

Vector Updater is used to update your vector pedal system with the latest features. In the event that one or both of the pedals are not detected by the application, you will get an error message letting you know which pedal is having trouble. Try the steps below for your system in order to solve the problem.

Vector systems:

  1. Remove pedals from the bike
  2. Replace pedal pod batteries
  3. Inspect each pod ensuring there is no damage to the brass pedal pod contact points
  4. Reinstall pedals and pods noting to switch pods left to right and from right to left (does not apply to "S" models).

Attempt to update your pedals again. If the problem moves with the pod over to the other pedal, you will need to replace the defective pod.

Vector 2 systems:

  1. Remove pedal pods from the bike
  2. Replace pedal pod batteries
  3. Inspect each pod ensuring there is no damage to the brass pedal pod contact points
  4. Reinstall pods noting to switch the side each pod was previously installed on.

Attempt to update your pedals again. If the problem moves with the pod over to the other pedal, you will need to replace the defective pod.

For single sided Vector S or 2S systems:

  1. Replace pedal pod batteries
  2. Inspect pod ensuring there is no damage to the brass pedal pod contact points

Attempt to update your pedals again. If the problem moves with the pod over to the other pedal, you will need to replace the defective pod.
