Garmin Express™ program updates are released several times a year. Critical updates to the application are performed automatically when it is launched. If necessary, it is also possible to check the Garmin Express version installed and check for application updates manually.
Current Version of Garmin Express for Windows: 7.25.0 as of March 25, 2025. .
1. Open Garmin Express
2. Click Settings 
3. Click About
4. The Garmin Express version installed is displayed.
5. Click Check for updates to Express
6. Click Install Now if prompted
Once the installation is complete, Garmin Express will be up to date.
Current Version of Garmin Express for Mac: 7.25.0 as of March 25, 2025.
1. Open Garmin Express
2. Click Garmin Express in the Apple menu bar
3. Click About Garmin Express
4. The Garmin Express version installed is displayed.
5. Click Check for Updates to Express if prompted
6. Click Install Now if prompted
Once the installation is complete, Garmin Express will be up to date.
For system software and map update instructions go to the Support Center, and enter the product name or the serial number of your device. Once your device is selected click on the Software tab in the left panel.
