Deleting Messages from the inReach SE or inReach Explorer

Unwanted messages can be deleted from an inReach SE or inReach Explorer device either one at a time or by deleting an entire day of history from the unit. Instructions for both deletion methods can be found below.

Deleting a Specific Message

1. Select Message
   
   
   
2. Highlight the thread containing the message to be deleted and press the Check button
   
   
   
3. Highlight the message to be deleted and press the Check button
   
   
   
4. Select More (scroll to the bottom of the message information)
   
   
   Note: If using an inReach SE, select Delete. Then proceed to step 6.
   
   
   
5. Select Delete
   
   
   
6. Select Delete to confirm

Deleting an Entire Day of History

Deleting an entire day of history from an inReach device will remove all messages as well as delete any recorded track history for that date. Only use this option if you want to remove all message and track history for the desired date.

1. Select History
   
   
   
2. Hightlight the date to be deleted and press the Check button
   
   
   
3. Select Delete
   
   
   
4. Select Delete to confirm
