Join Multiple Tracks Using HomePort

HomePort is a program that allows the user to create and edit user data like waypoints, routes, and tracks for use with a compatible marine chartplotter or sounder. HomePort has the ability to join two or more tracks into one single track. To do this, follow these directions:

  1. Open HomePort

  2. Find the tracks in the appropriate folder they were saved in

  3. Hold the CTRL button on the keyboard while left-clicking two or more tracks

  4. Click Edit

  5. Select Advanced

  6. Select Join Selected Tracks to open the Join Tracks dialog box

  7. Select any of the following options to edit the new track

    • Click the Up or Down arrow to move the selected track up or down in the list

    • Click the Backwards arrow to invert the selected track

  8. Click OK to join the tracks

The tracks will now be joined together into one single track. For more tips on how to use the HomePort program, click the Help option at the top of the screen, and select Help.
