Garmin Express Requirements for Mac and Windows

macOS:

Current Version of Garmin Express for Mac: 7.25.0 as of March 25, 2025.

With Apple discontinuing support for macOS versions after three years, we will no longer be investigating and resolving issues that arise in the Garmin Express™ application installed on macOS versions 12 and older.

The new minimum version supported for investigation will be macOS 13.0 and newer, including macOS Ventura 13, macOS Sonoma 14, and macOS Sequoia 15.

While support will not be offered, Garmin Express may still work on older versions.

We recommend using the latest version Garmin Express on a newer computer or updating via Wi-Fi if your device offers this. 

System Requirements for Mac

NOTE: With the release of Garmin Express for Mac version 7.25.0, macOS 12 and older are no longer supported. Users on macOS 11 or 12 can still install the latest Garmin Express release by downloading it at garmin.com/express, but it will not show as available within Garmin Express when checking for updates. 

Windows:

Current Version of Garmin Express for Windows: 7.25.0 as of March 25, 2025.

With Microsoft discontinuing support for Windows 8.1 and prior versions, we will no longer be investigating and resolving issues that arise in the Garmin Express™ application installed on Windows versions 8.1 and older. 

While support will not be offered, Garmin Express may still install and work on these versions. 

We recommend using the latest version of Garmin Express on a newer computer or updating via Wi-Fi if your device offers this.
