Memory Card Requirements for the VIRB 360 Action Camera

The VIRB 360 action camera has an expandable memory slot in which a microSD card must be inserted before the device can be used. This card allows the unit to store videos, photos, and track information.

The speed that microSD memory cards can read or write data is designated by the class of the card.  The Garmin VIRB 360 requires using a UHS-I (ultra high speed) Class U3 or higher.  MicroSD cards lower than UHS-I Class U3 may experience stutter, pixelation or lag in the video quality.

The minimum card size the VIRB 360 can hold is 4 gigabytes (GB) and the maximum is 128 gigabytes (GB).
