GFC 500 autopilot systems installed in Cirrus SR22 aircraft using GFC 500 Part 23 AML STC SA01866WI are affected.

PURPOSE:

This STC Service Bulletin provides notification of an update to STC SA01866WI, GFC 500 STC, MDL Revision 76.

Major details of the update are:

• Updated maximum autopilot engagement speed and added an airspeed limitation on approach.
  
• Approved additional gains to improve pitch performance.
  

There are no new aircraft models or functionality being added to the STC SA01866WI.
