Hiding or Showing the Trip Log on an Automotive Device

Many of Garmin's automotive devices will record a Trip Log (tracks) that can be displayed on the map screen. The Trip Log is essentially an "electronic breadcrumb" trail that shows you where you've been whenever the device is turned on and has acquired satellites.


To Hide or Show the Trip Log on the Tread® | Tread® - Base Edition GPS Navigators:  

  1. Touch Settings

  2. Touch Map Display

  3. Touch Map Layers

  4. Touch the box next to Travel History to hide or display the log on the map screen

  5. Touch Save and touch the back arrow to return to the main menu


To Hide or Show the Trip Log on the Tread® - Overland Edition | Tread® - SxS Edition | Tread® XL - Overland Edition GPS Navigators | Kawasaki RIDGE® 8" Tread® Display | Arctic Cat G8 Display | Tread® 2 GPS Navigator Series: 

  1. Touch View Map or Map

    • Touch the Home  button first on some devices

  2. Touch the Map Layers icon 

  3. Touch Layers

  4. Touch Unsaved Tracks to hide or display
