Creating a Waypoint in the Garmin ActiveCaptain App
The ActiveCaptain® App can be used for route and trip planning. The user has the ability to create waypoints based on coordinates or simply by selecting a location on the chart.
Creating a Waypoint
| 1. | Open the ActiveCaptain App |  |
| 2. | Select the Tools option on the Chart page |  |
| 3. | Select the Waypoint icon to create a waypoint |  |
| 4. | By default, the waypoint created will be located at the current position. Edit the Latitude and Longitude to create a waypoint at any other desired location. Note: If the coordinate format does not match the ActiveCaptain application format, change the position format setting under Settings>Units>Position. |  |
