Manage Routes, Tracks, and Saved Places on an Automotive Device using BaseCamp on a Mac
Saved locations including tracks, can be backed up, restored and transferred on your Mac computer using the preferred program Garmin Express™. For more information, see the FAQ Backing up, Restoring, or Transferring Saved Data on Garmin Automotive Devices.
Alternatively, you can do this using the free BaseCamp™ software. See the instructions for BaseCamp™ below.
NOTE: When using the Tread® GPS Navigator and all models in the Tread® series, it is recommended to use the Tread® App for managing waypoints, routes, and tracks. BaseCamp software can be used to manage waypoints and tracks, but BaseCamp does not support route creation for the Tread devices.
