Speed Limit Reduction Alert

The Speed Limit Reduction alert is a feature available on your Garmin device that notifies you if you are approaching an area where the speed limit has been reduced. If you are exceeding the posted speed limit, the current speed icon will be red.

Audible alerts for exceeding the posted speed limit can be enabled or disabled by following steps 1-3 below and touching the box next to Speed Limit Exceeded.

These alerts are present during general navigation, with an active route or otherwise. The feature should be available anywhere the posted speed limit changes.
