DOCUMENTATION CONSIDERATIONS:

There are no recommended AFMS or Pilot’s Guide changes applicable to this bulletin. Applicable AFMS and ICA documents listed in Table 1, are required to be issued to the aircraft owner/operator before the aircraft is returned to service, if not already provided.

PURPOSE:

Major details of the update are:

  • Updated G500/G600 TXi main software to Software Version 3.51, which includes the following fixes:

WARNING
Turboprop aircraft with TXi fuel quantity gauges and capacitive fuel probes must have the fuel quantity system recalibrated if Main Software Version 3.51 is loaded to a system with Main Software Version 3.12. Fuel calibrations made with Main Software Version 3.12 are not compatible with Main Software Version 3.14 and later. It is recommended to make an SD Save of the system configuration before updating GDU™ software.

    • Fixed an issue where SVT could show erroneous terrain in the vicinity of airports.
    • Fixed an issue where a full SD card could result in loss of primary navigation instruments.
    • Updated the Kulite APT51CC-75 oil pressure configuration for the GEA 71B Enhanced to v2 to fix an interface compatibility issue. Reference Installation Bulletin 23055 Rev A.
    • Fixed an issue where the display could exit the start-up screen prior to all displays synchronizing with a GDL 60 in the system.
    • The aircraft report will now populate the current time from an access point if system time is not available.
  • Adjusted the PC-12 oil temperature arc to prevent nuisance alerting.
  • Modified Cessna 310 fuel quantity discretes.
  • Approved interface for a third ammeter shunt to the GEA 110 for aircraft with two alternators.
  • Clarified GEA 71B Enhanced bus connection for aircraft with triple-fed bus.
  • Updated sensor file for the torque transducer interface in the Cessna 208 Caravan.
  • Updated the TBM 700 fuel quantity wiring interconnect for EMI robustness.


WARRANTY INFORMATION:

This modification is warranty reimbursable with a deadline of February 29, 2024.
