Turning Bluetooth Pairing Mode on for an Edge 25

If you need to pair an Edge 25 to a smartphone through the Garmin Connect app, you must turn on the Bluetooth pairing mode on the Edge. Turning on pairing mode will trigger a Bluetooth beacon signal that the Garmin Connect app will look for. 

Steps to Enable Pairing Mode on an Edge 25

1. Press the bottom right button on the Edge 25 until you see Settings.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select Bluetooth.

4. Select Pair Smartphone.

NOTE: You must pair the watch through the Garmin Connect app and not directly to the phone through Bluetooth settings.
