AutoLocate Instructions for Colorado

Occasionally, satellite data can become obsolete or corrupt preventing your device from acquiring a satellite lock. Performing an AutoLocate on your Colorado® outdoor handheld removes all of the current satellite data on the device and allows it to re-establish a proper connection with the satellites. The steps below will walk you through this process.

  1. Access the Shortcut Menu
  2. Select Others
  3. Select Satellites
  4. Press Options (Left Soft Key)
  5. Select Use With GPS Off
  6. Immediately press Options (Left Soft Key) again
  7. Choose Autolocate Unit

At this point you, please set the unit outside in plain view of the sky for 20 minutes. You will want to leave the device in a stationary position. This will allow the Colorado handheld to record fresh satellite data.
