AutoLocate Instructions for Colorado
Occasionally, satellite data can become obsolete or corrupt preventing your device from acquiring a satellite lock. Performing an AutoLocate on your Colorado® outdoor handheld removes all of the current satellite data on the device and allows it to re-establish a proper connection with the satellites. The steps below will walk you through this process.
- Access the Shortcut Menu
- Select Others
- Select Satellites
- Press Options (Left Soft Key)
- Select Use With GPS Off
- Immediately press Options (Left Soft Key) again
- Choose Autolocate Unit
At this point you, please set the unit outside in plain view of the sky for 20 minutes. You will want to leave the device in a stationary position. This will allow the Colorado handheld to record fresh satellite data.
