GPS update rate when Speed Filter is set to Auto
Some Garmin chartplotters have a setting called Speed Filter, which can be used to adjust the refresh/update rate of its GPS source. The default setting is Auto.
When set to Auto, the GPS antenna in the Garmin device will update once every second.
