Hiding or Showing the Trip Log on an Automotive Device

Many of Garmin's automotive devices will record a Trip Log (tracks) that can be displayed on the map screen. The Trip Log is essentially an "electronic breadcrumb" trail that shows you where you've been whenever the device is turned on and has acquired satellites.

To hide or show the Trip Log:

  1. Touch Tools
  2. Touch Settings
  3. Touch Navigation
  4. Touch Automobile
    • Each usage mode (Automobile, Truck, RV, or Pedestrian) will need to be selected and changed to hide or show the Trip Log for that mode.
  5. Touch Trip Log
  6. Touch Show On Map
  7. Touch Enabled or Disabled
  8. Touch Save

Repeat steps as needed.
