Setting up Geofences or Radius Alerts with the Alpha 200 Plus or Alpha 300 Series
A geofence, is an invisible boundary you can set around an area to receive an alert when a dog or contact enters or exits that area. This alert can be helpful to manage if the dog comes close to an unauthorized property, or if heading toward a dangerous area such as a road.
IMPORTANT Geofence notifications will alert you, but no stimulation or warning tone will be given to the dog when it enters or exits the geofence area. If needed, training commands can be delivered manually via the normal Training Buttons on models from the Alpha® series of handhelds.
