Differences Between LiveTrack and MapShare for inReach Devices
Both LiveTrack™ tracking and MapShare™ tracking provide a view of your location on a map during an inReach® activity, so friends and family can follow along on your tracking page. LiveTrack provides a more streamlined experience focused on location tracking while MapShare provides more ways to customize how you share tracking information along with other recorded location data. You can switch between using LiveTrack or MapShare at any time in the Garmin Messenger™ app or Earthmate® app, depending on which inReach model you are using.1 For steps, see Related .
