Sharing Saved Locations from a zūmo XT GPS Navigator with Other zumo Users

1. Insert the microSD card into the zūmo

2. Touch Where To?

3. Touch Saved  

4. Touch the Menu or Wrench icon

5. Touch Share

6. Select Memory Card

7. Select a Location

8. Touch Done

9. The location has been sent to the memory card

The receiving device should give a prompt to import the location after turning on the device with the SD card inserted.

1. Enable Bluetooth on both the sending and receiving device

• Locations can only be sent via Bluetooth to the following devices:
  • BMW Motorrad Navigator V
  • BMW Motorrad Navigator VI
  • zūmo® 395 GPS navigator
  • zūmo® 396 GPS navigator
  • zūmo® 590 GPS navigator
  • zūmo® 595 GPS navigator
  • zūmo® XT GPS navigator

2. Touch Where To?

3. Touch Saved  

4. Touch the Menu or Wrench icon

5. Touch Share

6. Select Bluetooth 

7. Select a Location 

8. Touch Done

9. Select a device

• See Changing the Bluetooth Friendly Name on an Automotive Device to identify the receiving device's friendly name if multiple Bluetooth connections are detected.

10. Touch OK

11. The receiving device will display a message to pair the zūmo. Touch Yes

12. A confirmation message will appear. Touch OK

The location will now be found in the Saved places on the receiving device.

2. Touch Where To?

3. Touch Saved  

4. Touch the Menu or Wrench icon

5. Touch Share

6. Touch Garmin Drive

7. Select a Location 

8. Touch Done

9. Touch OK

10. Touch Share in the Garmin Drive™ App

• You can use the sharing options on your phone to send the trip to another user via email.

11. The receiving user can then open the file with the Garmin Drive app

12. The receiving user will touch Send in the Garmin Drive app

The location will now be found in the Saved places on the receiving device.
