Enable or Disable Parking Guard on a Garmin Dash Cam

See the steps below to Enable or Disable the Parking Guard feature on a Garmin Dash Cam™ X110, Garmin Dash Cam™ X210, Garmin Dash Cam™  X310, Garmin Dash Cam™ Live, Garmin Dash Cam™ 47, Garmin Dash Cam™  57, Garmin Dash Cam™  67W, Garmin Dash Cam™ Mini 2, and Garmin Dash Cam™ Mini 3 driving recorders.

Using the Garmin Drive App to Enable or Disable Parking Guard:

1. Open the Garmin Drive app 

2. Tap the Settings gear

3. Select the dash cam from within the Vehicle

4. Tap Parking Guard

5. Swipe left or right on the slide button to turn it off or on

For Garmin Dash Cams with a built-in display, if the Garmin Drive app is not paired you can enable/disable the Parking Guard on the dash cam itself.

To modify Parking Guard for the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 and Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3, they must be paired and managed from the Garmin Drive app on a compatible smartphone.
