PURPOSE:

Due to a supplier machining defect, the pitot and/or static fittings may loosen within the connector plate. This creates a small path for debris and/or moisture incursion, as well as possible electromagnetic interference.

Garmin Service Bulletin 22029 contains instructions to return the affected product to Garmin.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:

This Service Bulletin is warranty reimbursable with a deadline of October 31, 2022 after which this upgrade will no longer be reimbursable for labor.
