Garmin Segments Not Displaying on an Edge Device

Some Edge® cycling computers accept Garmin segments that have been sent from Garmin Connect™. After a segment is saved to your device, you can follow the segment, trying to match or exceed the group leader or challenger.

When you create a new segment on Garmin Connect, there can be a slight delay between the creation of the segment and the population of the leaderboard for that new segment. A segment sent to the Edge from Garmin Connect must have a leaderboard that is populated with other users or the segment will not show up on the Edge.

After creating a new segment on Garmin Connect, allow the needed time for a leaderboard to be created and populated before sending that segment to your Edge.
