Inline Fuse Selection for an Amplifier Power Cable

An inline fuse on an amplifier should be equal in rating (amperage) to the onboard fuse of the amplifier being used. This fuse protects the power cable from grounding and overheating, and should be installed as close to the battery or connected power source as possible.
