Unable to hear navigation prompts via Bluetooth headset when connected to a zumo 500 or 550
The zumo navigation device has two different audio settings to transmit sound to your Bluetooth headset. If your headset is only giving you audio from your Bluetooth phone, then the audio setting may be set to Phone only and will need to be changed to Navigation, MP3, Phone.
You can switch this setting by following the steps below:
- Power the device on
- Touch Tools
- Touch Bluetooth
- Touch Audio at the bottom of the screen
- Touch the Navigation, MP3, Phone option
- Touch OK to save the change
- Touch and hold the Back button to take you back to the main menu.
You should now be able to hear navigation prompts as well as mp3's, audio books and phone calls through the Bluetooth headset connection.
