My Edge Device Will Not Fully Turn On

If your Edge® cycling computers turns on but will not display the main menu screen, the device can be forced into mass storage mode, allowing it to be seen by the computer so that you can check for any available software updates. Doing this will usually resolve your issue.

Before proceeding you will need the following:

  • Your Edge device

  • Garmin USB cable or a data cable to connect it to a computer USB port

  • A computer with internet connection

  • Garmin Express installed on the computer
