Accessing the App Drawer or Status Page on an Oregon 700 Series
Normally the App Drawer or Status Page can be accessed by tapping the power key once.1 However, when Battery Save is enabled you will receive a prompt indicating that you must double-tap the power key:
Disabling battery save will restore the normal action of tapping the power key once to access the App Drawer or Status Page.
Enabling or Disabling Battery Save
- Tap
from the home screen or select Setup from the App Drawer - Select Display
- Select Battery Save
1 With default settings enabled, the Oregon® 700 series handhelds will be in Activity Mode and tapping the power key will access the App Drawer. If the device is in Classic Mode, tapping the power key will access the Status Page. The action of the power key can also be customized, in which case the steps above may not apply. For more details, refer to "Customizing the Device" in your owner's manual.
