Upgrading a GHP 20 to the Reactor 40

If you currently own an GHP 20, but would like to upgrade to the GHP Reactor, you would need to do the following:

Notes:
   • If the boat currently has a GHC 10, it needs to be replace with a GHC 20 or GHC 50. The GHP Reactor is not compatible with the GHC 10.
   • If the GHP SmartPump is upgraded for a SmartPump Version 2 and  the boat has a GHP 20 CCU "Compass Ball", the GHP 20 CCU is not compatible wit the SmartPump V2 upgrade the GHP 20 CCU with a Reactor 40 .

Required Parts

Installation Overview

  • Replace the GHP 20 CCU with the Reactor 40

  • Replace GHP 20 interconnect cable with the Reactor 40 interconnect cable

  • Connect the Reactor 40 to NMEA 2000 using existing cable

  • Connect the Shadow drive to the Reactor 40

  • Connect the buzzer to the Reactor 40

  • Leave tach wires unconnected

  • Leave yellow wire from GHC unconnected

Installation Overview

  • Replace the GHP 20 CCU with the Reactor 40

  • Connect the interconnect cable to the Reactor 40 using existing cable

  • Connect the Reactor 40 to NMEA 2000 using existing cable
