GHC™ Remote Stops Working or Shows 'No Signal' While Trying to Connect to a GHC™

Occasionally the GHC™ 10 or 20 autopilot controller will lose the remote connection after changing the batteries in the GHC™ Remote. To fix the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the batteries from the remote

  2. Disconnect both the NMEA 2000 cable and the power/data cable from the GHC™ 10 or 20 autopilot helm control

  3. Let the system sit for 5 minutes

  4. Re-connect the NMEA 2000 and power/data cable back on the GHC™

  5. Place the batteries back in the remote

  6. Power on the GHC™ 10 / 20 autopilot helm control

Once power has been restored, follow these steps to pair the remote to the GHC™ 10 or 20 autopilot helm control:

  1. Start from the Heading screen on the GHC™ 10 or 20 autopilot helm control

  2. Select Menu

  3. Select Setup

  4. Select Remote

  5. Select Search for Remote

  6. On the remote, press and hold both the left and right double arrows

  7. On the GHC™ 10 or 20 autopilot helm control, select Connect

  8. The autopilot will search for and pair with the GHC™ remote
